TRIUMPH ERP IMPLEMENTATION AND SUPPORT
Triumph is an Australian-developed ERP system for businesses that move a lot of stock and want to know where they are making or losing money. It handles distribution, wholesale, retail, inventory, purchasing, accounting, job costing, manufacturing and mining in one database. It has been built around what clients ask for, rather than what a developer thinks they want. Avenaut is an independent, Senior Certified Triumph consultant based in Perth.
Who Triumph suits
Triumph tends to fit businesses that:
• carry thousands of stock lines, often with supplier codes, barcodes and multiple price lists
• run more than one location, warehouse or company
• sell wholesale and retail, or B2B and B2C online
• are property or investment groups that want to run every company from one database, rather than a separate copy of software for each
• have outgrown MYOB, Xero or QuickBooks plus a stack of add-ons
• need financial reporting that brings in data from other industry software
• need reporting that goes deeper than the standard reports
Signs you've outgrown your current system
• The same order, invoice or stock adjustment gets typed into two or three places.
• Add-ons for inventory, eCommerce and POS don't talk to each other properly.
• Month-end takes days because data has to be pulled together in spreadsheets.
• The system slows down as users, stock lines or transactions grow.
• You can't see stock and margin across all locations in one place.
• You need to move to the cloud but your current setup won't come with you.
Cloud or on-premises
Triumph runs either on your own server or hosted on Triumph Cloud. Cloud removes the server, backups and remote access headaches. On-premises suits businesses with existing infrastructure or specific integration needs. We'll talk through both and recommend one based on how you work.
Integrations
• Triumph B2B eCommerce: Triumph's own web ordering for trade customers
• Shopify: stock, pricing and orders synced with Triumph stock codes
• Maropost Commerce Cloud (Neto): B2B and B2C web stores
• WooCommerce: orders into Triumph, stock and pricing back to the store
• ePOS Now: point of sale connected back to Triumph
• Bunnings EDI: orders in and fulfilment back from Triumph
• Delta EDI: orders in and fulfilment back from Triumph
• Custom integrations: through the Triumph API, for systems without an off-the-shelf connector
How a project runs
1. Review. We look at your processes, data and pain points and agree what the system needs to do.
2. Design and setup. Locations, price lists, stock codes, chart of accounts and reports configured to match the business.
3. Data migration. Customers, suppliers, stock and opening balances moved from your old system and checked.
4. Training. Hands-on, using your own data, for each role.
5. Go-live. On-site or remote support through the first weeks.
6. Ongoing support. Report changes, new users, integrations and health checks as you grow.
Frequently asked questions
How long does a Triumph implementation take?
It depends on the number of locations, stock lines, integrations and how clean the existing data is. A typical single-company implementation takes 3 to 12 weeks from sign-off to go-live. We'll give you a realistic timeline after the review.
What does a Triumph implementation cost?
Cost is made up of Triumph licensing or a Triumph Cloud subscription, plus consulting time for setup, migration, training and reports. We quote consulting fees after a free initial review, so you know the scope before you commit. You'll find our rates very competitive.
Can Triumph integrate with Shopify?
Yes. We've connected Shopify stores with thousands of SKUs to Triumph, including matching Shopify SKUs to Triumph stock codes so stock and pricing stay in sync.
Can Triumph handle multiple companies and locations?
Yes. Triumph supports multiple warehouses and locations and can run several companies, so a group of related businesses can share stock information and reporting.
Is Triumph available in the cloud?
Yes, through Triumph Cloud. Users connect remotely, with no server to maintain in-house.
How does Triumph compare with MYOB Advanced, Business Central or Xero plus Cin7?
They all suit growing businesses, but they're built differently. Xero plus an inventory add-on works well until volume and complexity make the two systems hard to keep aligned. MYOB Advanced and Business Central are broad platforms that often need more customisation for distribution. Triumph is built specifically for stock-heavy distribution and retail, with inventory, purchasing, sales and accounting in one database. The right choice depends on your industry, size and budget. We'll tell you honestly if Triumph isn't the best fit.
We already use Triumph. Can you help?
Yes. Much of our work is with existing Triumph users: health checks, new Crystal Reports, dashboards, integrations, moving to Triumph Cloud, and fixing setups that have drifted over the years. We also help Triumph users put AI to work in their business.
Is Avenaut part of Triumph?
No. Avenaut is an independent consultancy and a Senior Certified Triumph consultant. Triumph writes and develops the software, while Triumph dealers like Avenaut bring the business skills to implement it, support it and keep improving your processes and efficiency.
