With a strong accounting background, I worked in practice at the start of my career specialising in Onsite preparation of Management Accounts for SMEs as well as moving clients from Manual to Computerised Systems. Two years selling and marketing ERP and IT systems brought a greater sense of business acument. Moving to Perth in 2006, I quickly became an ERP Consultant. I then spent 7 years as CFO at an iconic Retail and Wholesaler in Perth.
I've always been passionate about and have a natural flair for the IT side of accounting. I have implemented many systems including Triumph ERP, SAP Business One, Sage Line 50, MYOB, Sage MMS, Pegasus Opera and Quickbooks. Along the way I've been exposed to even more systems, always being the go to guy when colleagues got stuck.
I have set up Avenaut to follow my passion and share my expertise and experience with other businesses, to help them grow - now and in the future.
