ABOUT JON BROWN

Jon Brown, Owner. FCCA, BA(Hons), CGFE. Senior Certified Triumph ERP Consultant.

I'm a Triumph ERP consultant who has also sat in the CFO's chair. That combination is the point of Avenaut: I know what numbers a business owner needs to make decisions, and how to set the system up so it delivers them.

I started in accounting practice in the UK, preparing management accounts on site for SMEs and moving clients from manual to computerised systems. I then spent two years selling and implementing ERP and IT systems, and a sales role teaches you a lot of business acumen.

After moving to Perth in 2006 I worked as an ERP consultant, then spent seven years as CFO of a well-known Perth retailer and wholesaler running Triumph. I founded Avenaut to bring that experience to other growing businesses.

Today most of my work is Triumph: implementations, Crystal Reports, Power BI and SQL dashboards, integrations, Triumph Cloud, and the IT that keeps it all running. AI is a growing part of that work, helping clients get more done with less manual effort.

Other systems I've implemented or supported: SAP Business One, Sage Line 50, Sage MMS, MYOB, Pegasus Opera, QuickBooks, Attache and WageEasy. Useful when you're migrating from one of them.
